Born on the 25th of November, 1968 Jillian Shennessy was a dynamic Canadian actor and a singer who is renowned for her notable contributions in American television. She was an actor in the American TV series Law & Order, where she portrayed prosecutor Claire Kincaid for three years. In Crossing Jordan she played Jordan Cavanaugh over six seasons. Hennessy demonstrated her skills in independent movies like Chutney Popcorn or The Acting Class. Hennessy started her acting career along with her sister, playing twin call-girls on Dead Ringers in 1988. The actress starred in Broadway in the musical Buddy The Buddy Holly Story in 1990. The Buddy Holly Story during the year 1990 and stepped into the sci-fi world in 1993 as the role of Dr. Marie Lazarus in RoboCop 3. The following year, she became the assistant district attorney Claire Kincaid in the hit NBC Crime Drama Law & Order. Her three-season stint in the role was a hit with audiences. The show ended in 1996. Parker was a part of films and TV series like RED Fried Green Tomatoes Boys on The Side and The West Wing Angels, for which Parker earned an Golden Globe Award as well as an Emmy Award. Parker was also awarded an Tony Award in 2001 for Best Actress, for her part in the role of Proof in the musical Proof on Broadway.
